My practice is strongly influenced by my immediate surroundings. I use commonplace imagery to organise the pictorial space. Deconstructing the moment when fragments of environment, object and experience come together and resonate; allowing the process to bring up the unexpected has underpinned this latest work. 

A Royal College of Art Graduate. Acquisitions include National Galleries of Scotland, Royal Scottish Academy of Art and Architecture, Aberdeen Art Gallery and museum. Recent recipient of the Royal Scottish Academy William Littlejohn Watercolour Award, RSA Residencies for Scotland with Peacock and the Worm, International Academy of Fine Arts, Scholarship Salzburg and Bet Low Award
