Education: Edinburgh College of Art 1985-86, Glasgow School of Art 1986-89, Manchester School of Art 1989-91

Exhibited throughout UK including Northern Ireland and in the United States.

1st Ayrshire based artist in residence at the Royal Drawing School, Dumfries House 2014

1st Artist in Residence ARTREZ PROGRAMME Newnan, Georgia, USA 2015.

Primarily a landscape painter based in Ayrshire, finding sources of inspiration in my local area and from trips abroad. Drawing is a very important element to my work and in recent years a higher key colour has infused my palette.
