Ruth Nicol

Artist Statement

Born in Glasgow, 1967 and graduating BA Hons Edinburgh College of Art 2010. Selected for the Royal Scottish Academy’s New Contemporaries Exhibition 2011 and member of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour 2024.

I exhibit regularly with the Royal Scottish Academy, Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour, Royal Glasgow Institute & Paisley Art Institute.

Living in Leith, Edinburgh and I'm currently working on a collaboration with Alexander Moffat and Alan Riach.

Several of my large landscapes are now part of several prestigious art collections.
